Fundraising
For an early-stage biotechnology company, the absence of financial resources is a death sentence. Without timely funding, not only does scientific activity come to a halt, but all other company processes freeze, and the team is lost. Under such conditions, the project rapidly deteriorates and may simply cease to exist.
NIVIRON takes on the entire fundraising process — from identifying suitable sources to closing the deal — ensuring the company has the resources needed to move forward. We focus on securing non-dilutive funding, investments from angels and strategic partners, and venture investors willing to fund companies at an early stage.
We design the strategy not just to find money, but to attract “smart capital” — investors and partners who understand the specifics of life sciences and can provide not only funds, but also access to infrastructure, experts, and markets.
As part of this process, we:
• Develop an investment strategy focused on angels, corporate partners, specialized early-stage funds, and sources of non-dilutive funding — grants, government programs, charitable foundations, and corporate initiatives;
• Prepare investment and marketing materials — pitch deck, executive summary, data room (tailored for angel investors and strategic partners);
• Draft and submit grant applications (NIH, BARDA, Horizon Europe, and others, including local and industry-specific programs);
• Identify investors and strategic partners (by focus, geography, and readiness to work with pre-seed/seed stage companies);
• Facilitate joint research — including arrangements where a larger company acts as a sponsor;
• Conduct negotiations and provide legal support for the transaction (with an emphasis on minimizing risks to founders and IP).
Outcome: the company gains access to funding and partners who ensure the continuity of all key processes and accelerate the advancement of the technology toward commercialization.
